About Us

Families and Children Empowered is a therapeutic service, and between us, we have over 20+ years of experience working with children and families.

Here at F.A.C.E we work with pre-school children, young people and parents.

We work with children ages 4-12 (and ages 12-16 on a case-by-case basis).

We offer therapeutic consultancy services online, by phone, or in person, where appropriate, to ensure continuity of support for the families and young people we work with.

We have been trained by Place2Be, who are accredited by Counselling and Psychotherapy Central.

At F.A.C.E the range of services we provide are 1:1 individual sessions and group sessions (dependant on package requirements).

It is a process where individuals or families can talk about issues and problems that they are facing in their lives. We pride our self on offering a confidential and non-judgmental space. In turn supporting parents / caregivers whilst promoting parenting skills to support families.

We Offer therapeutic counselling support, promoting opportunities; for children and young people to express their emotions and feelings through a natural, self-guided, self-healing process.

F.A.C.E aims to reach both children and families supporting them in gaining a greater understanding of self and making positive changes.

Testimonials

I have found family support from Kaz to be very helpful since the start. Particularly with the phase my son is going through. The recommended solutions are very much life saving at times. Having spoken to her or knowing that I can discuss our present situation with an understanding person is a big relief and has lowered our distress levels.

Kaz has supported us with our children’s behaviour when we have struggled with strategies of support and modelling different ways to do this. She has been a consistent figure of support through our journey of parenting and supporting with our Childs changing behaviours. Lovely lady thank you

Carer SR

I was struggling to get my first child to sleep when he was 8 months old and was going through a bad phase when Kaz gave me advice and support and printed relevant material. With her encouragement, I managed to sleep-train my child, and he now sleeps through the night! I cannot tell you how grateful I am to her for this.

Parent AM

Kaz was my greatest support in helping me reframe my negative thought patterns through positive talk, strategies, and techniques. So grateful
